DTEK60 BlackBerry unveiled
BlackBerry seems to have finally chosen to spend its Android smartphones. The Canadian
manufacturer has left fuiter information on his next DTEK60 model, successor of DTEK50 released last month and the high-end model Priv.
Several were rumors of the release new BlackBerry devices running Android, and this seems to be confirmed. Indeed, the Federal Communications Commission - the US agency in charge of telecommunications regulation - published (link in English) the frequency authorization to record the new model.
If the plug FCC gives little information, a page is temporarily appeared on the US site of BlackBerry before being removed. This page, located by the specialized website Crackberry (link in English), unveiled the specifications DTEK60 hitherto designated by the name of BlackBerry Argon.
The specs seem rather attractive: quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 graphics card, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 3000 mAh battery and USB port-C. BlackBerry seems to have focused on the photograph with an auto-focus sensor of 21 megapixels and a front camera of 8 MP. The device will of course equipped with the BlackBerry security systems, as well as a fingerprint reader. Finally, forget the return key, the DTEK60 will have a HD screen 5.5 inch full touch
